In those moments whenever you do face opposition and you run into challenges (which you will), you need to have clarity as to why you are doing what you’re doing to start with. That way, regardless of what you face, you’ve the motivation to press beyond the challenges and get closer to your objectives is clear.

Objectives generate purpose, purpose creates energy, energy creates concentration and focus and that gives you the motivation and drive to do what it takes to succeed!

Principle #2) Figure out how much you’re willing to give to reach your objectives!

Far too many of us underestimate the degree of “giving up a few things” that are needed in order to succeed. The bottom line is that success isn’t comfortable and neither does it occur by mistake. It’s a very intentional act that calls for some level of compromise within the process.

As an example, you could have your favorite tv shows that you simply like to watch or a hobby that you like to pursue in your spare time. On the other hand, whenever you commit to creating your own business, those shows could be missed and your hobby may be placed on hold temporarily so that you can attend networking events and host company opportunity meetings.

You need to establish what you’re willing to compromise on the front end so that you can obtain your goals on the back end… this step alone will reveal when you have what it takes to be a leader in this business!

Principle #3) Surround your self with like minds!

In this industry, you’ll get the pleasure of becoming an ‘insider’ to the company of Millionaires, Positive Thinkers and Dream Builders!  Network Marketing is one profession that consistently promotes the vision that you can and will maximize your life’s potential if you commit to personal development every single day.

The key to bringing this to life for oneself is to do whatever it takes to surround yourself with those who are where you want to be. This could be awkward or a bit outside your comfort zone, but it’s something you need to do and be committed to doing.

You will learn to live an intentional life by surrounding yourself with sharp persons who challenge you to grow and stretch beyond your comfort zone.

Principle #4) Have A Program, A System & Work It!

A strategic plan of action is critical to developing your Network Marketing Business. Retailing and Recruiting are obviously one of the ways to generate income in this industry, but you also need to genuinely leverage your small business through the efforts of other people.  A recruiting & marketing system will help you do just that.

You need to know the following things:

A. How much you would like to earn, and what it takes to earn it?

B. What systems are in place for the sales process and development of your business enterprise?

C. What should you be doing daily, with regards to Income Generating Activities, to get closer and closer to your objectives?

Once you’ve mapped out the numbers, the system and the activities, you’re destined to exceed just about every goal you might have set “IF” and “ONLY IF” you TAKE ACTION!

These 4 principles are extremely critical to the success of your business and when you concentrate on these core components up front, you will find yourself sailing to the top amidst the other 3%’ers and living the life that you envisioned and planned!
